Christ the Redeemer is Rio de Janeiro’s main postcard. Inaugurated on October 12, 1931, the statue with open arms for Guanabara Bay turned 90 years old in 2021. With 38 meters high (including the 8 meter pedestal) and weighing 1,145 tons, the tourist attraction is located at the top of the hill of Corcovado and was elected one of the 7 wonders of the world!

During our tour, we will visit many great attractions like:

– Ipanema and Copacabana Beach
– Sugar Loaf by Cable Car – Visitation about 1h 30 minutes (you will have free time here!)
– Corcovado Hill and Christ the Redeemer – 1h 30 minutes (you will have free time here!)
– St. Sebastian Metropolitan Cathedral – Visitation about 30 minutes
– Opera House, National Library, and the Museum of Fine Arts – We will only look from the outside
– Colombo Bakery – We will have a nice break here for a coffee
– Selaron Steps – Visitation about 30 minutes
– Lapa and Santa Teresa district
– Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas
